1. Who we are

SportIQ is an AI assistant that helps users aged 18 and over prepare sports betting slips for entertainment. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using SportIQ you agree to this policy.

2. Data we collect

• Account: the email address or phone number you register with, a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself), and an ID of the device your account is currently signed in on. An account can be signed in on one device at a time; signing in on a new device signs the previous one out. You can also use SportIQ without an account; an account is only needed to upgrade to Premium.
• AI chat and slip requests: the messages you send to the SportIQ assistant and the slips it generates (teams, odds, selections).
• Payments: the mobile-money phone number you enter and the SMS transaction (confirmation) ID you submit. We do not see, collect, or store your mobile-money PIN, wallet balance, or any card details.
• Device and push: a device push token and platform (iOS/Android) so we can notify you about your subscription and payments.
• Preferences: your app language (English/Kiswahili) and plan status.

3. How we use data

• To generate slips and answers from the AI assistant.
• To verify and activate manual mobile-money payments and keep your payment history.
• To send push notifications about payment approval, rejection, and plan expiry.
• To provide support when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Service providers

SportIQ runs on cloud hosting and AI services that process data on our behalf (cloud functions, databases, and AI providers). Payment verification is manual: you pay from your own mobile-money wallet and we only read the transaction reference you submit.

5. Storage and retention

Data is stored on secured cloud servers. We keep your payment history for accounting and dispute purposes. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing abdallahmdira@gmail.com.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. We respond to reasonable requests promptly.

7. Children

SportIQ is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

8. Responsible gambling

SportIQ provides AI-generated predictions for information and entertainment only. Predictions are not guaranteed. We do not place bets or hold your money. Please bet responsibly and only what you can afford to lose.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
